How To Get Better Sleep While RV Camping

Dec. 15 2022 Lifestyle By JR Motors

A good night's sleep can make a big difference on your RV adventure! Use the following tips to set yourself up for a restful night.

1. Block Out Light

Get blackout curtains or high quality blinds for your camper's windows. This will stop outside light from disturbing your sleep.

2. Block Out Noise

If you’re RV camping near a busy highway or other noisy area, invest in a pair of noise-canceling headphones or a white noise machine. These accessories can help block out the bothersome sound and allow you to get some much needed rest.

3. Relax Before Bedtime

Spend an hour or two before sleeping doing something calming, such as reading a book or listening to calming music. This will help you drift off into dreamland more easily.

4. Maintain the Right Temperature In the Bedroom

If your bedroom is too hot or too cold, it can be tough to fall asleep and stay asleep. Utilize fans in the summer and heaters in the winter to create a cozy bedroom environment.

By following these tips, you'll have improved rest on your RV camping trip and enjoy every minute of your adventure with plenty of energy.  Happy RVing!
